Aoyama

Named after the vibrant area in Tokyo where we lived during our time there, the original design idea for this piece emerged while I was undergoing my training as a skilled cabinet maker. Drawing inspiration from the A-frame construction often seen in traditional wood houses, this TV bench features a box that appears to be “suspended” within the sturdy frame. The interior provides ample space to house receivers, cables, and a sound bar. To facilitate optimal air movement from the speaker, the front of the bench is adorned with a decorative speaker grille that showcases a captivating “rising sun” pattern.
